How Much Behind-the-Wheel Instruction is Offered?
Some driving school programs may be 100% classroom-based, whereas others may offer about a 50/50 split between classroom instruction and hands-on driving experience. You'll always want to choose a school that will include behind-the-wheel instruction as part of your enrollment. After all, there's only so much you can learn about driving a car through classroom training. Getting behind the wheel for yourself is an important part of the learning process.
What is Your Road Test Pass Rate?
Any reputable driving school should be able to tell you the percentage of students who complete their program and go on to successfully pass their road tests to obtain their driver's license. The higher the pass rate, the more confident you can be in the program.
Will Instruction Be Shared or One-on-One?
While most classroom instruction will be shared with other students, it's important to get as much one-on-one time with your instructor while driving as possible.
